Jurassic Park Movie Marathon Menu

This was a great marathon! Much shorter than the ones we’ve done in the past. It was also way less work since I kept the food super simple. We started out Friday night with our mashed potato mountain and the first movie. We picked back up again Saturday morning with breakfast and lunch along with movies two and three! We’ll have to do this again for Jurassic World!

MOVIE #1

To accompany the first movie, we made a mashed potato mountain. Nothing that really needs a recipe here; mashed potatoes, broccoli trees, dino nuggets, and gravy! See below to watch the volcano erupt!

MOVIE #2

We started Saturday morning with movie #2 and brunch. We had fossil pancakes and scrambled dino eggs (chickens evolved from dinosaurs so even though they’re regular eggs, they’re basically dino eggs). We also had sausage, which I wanted to call dino poops, but Dale wasn’t a fan of that name, so we cut it. And you can’t have brunch without a mimosa, ours were green!

Peep our dino plates and decorations!

MOVIE #3

We finished off with a late lunch of dino shaped bacon grilled cheeses and footprint shaped fries. I know the fries are a little wonky, but that’s what happens when you cut potatoes free hand after quite a few green mimosas! We also had some dinosaur egg rice krispies!

Rice Krispies are the best movie marathon dessert because they’re easy af and you can make them whatever shape/color you want with cookie cutters and food coloring!
