15 Minute Wonton Soup

This soup is perfect for a sick day its really simple to make and uses barely any dishes so you can make it even if you’re not feeling great. It comes together pretty quickly too.. Wonton soup is my favorite soup and with frozen wontons you can make it at home so easily. My favorite ones are chicken wontons from Costco, but I’ve heard Trader Joe’s has some good ones too! Use whatever you like! I added edamame here because I had them in the freezer but they’re optional. Carrots or bokchoy would be great here as well. Stay hungry my friends!

INGREDIENTS

1 box chicken broth

Splash of soy sauce

Splash of fish sauce

Tbsp chili crisp oil

Grated ginger

Grated garlic

2 Scallions

1/2 cup frozen edamame

Frozen wontons

Drizzle of sesame oil

DIRECTIONS

Bring the broth, soy sauce, fish sauce, chili oil, garlic, ginger and scallion to a boil

Once boiling add edamame and cook for around 8 minutes

After that, when the edamame start to float, add the frozen wontons

Bring back to a boil then cook for 2 minutes until wontons are floating

Add to a bowl and top with a drizzle of sesame oil and enjoy!
