Pumpkin Baked Brie

Cute fall appetizer! Next time I want to toast some walnuts with sage brown butter and add that on top of the brie! Will update if I try that. A fun substitute for fig jam would be pumpkin butter if you have that. Also, theres probably a much easier way to tie up the brie but this is just how I did it!

INGREDIENTS

-pastry puff

-brie

-fig jam (or pumpkin butter)

-bakers twine

-cinnamon stick

-sage

-egg

DIRECTIONS

-Roll out pastry puff

-Add jam (or pumpkin butter) and place brie with the top sliced off on top

-Cut pastry in a circle around the brie then wrap it up

-Cut a long piece of twine and wrap around to create pumpkin shape (see video below for how I did it)

-Cover with egg wash and bake at 375 for around 25 minutes

-Take it out when golden and cut off the twine. Add the cinnamon stick and sage for garnish, let cool then enjoy!
